Kendriya Vidyalaya Uppercamp was established on 30 June 1984. The Vidayalaya had been initially functioning in barracks provided by the defence authorities and later shifted to newly constructed building in April 1995 at Upper Camp,near Supply Chowk,Dehradun Cantt.
All the required facilities are available in the campus.

Chemistry Lab
The Chemistry Lab is
according to the CBSE norms. There is sufficient space for the students for the practical
work of at least 30 students at a time. Lab is well maintained with reagents bottle
shelves & other important equipments. Different types of charts are also displayed in
the Lab.

Physics Lab is according to CBSE norms with all needful latest
equipments and devices. Some working projects are also displayed
those were developed by the Students. Charts and Instructions are

Biology Lab
The Biology Lab is well equipped with 30 compounds & 8 dissecting
microscopes. The Lab is well ventilated, airy and with all facilities for students.
Various aids (Specimen & Charts) displayed for the full benefit of students. Slide
projectors and other tools are also available for making the things clear to the students.

Geography Lab is well

Library:
The Vidyalaya has a spacious and fully furnished Library with about 5500 books. 6 daily news papers and 15 periodicals are subscribed.
No student shall bring personal belongings inside the library. Students may get the books issued on library cards. A book will be issued at a time for 14 days.
The borrower shall be responsible for damage of loss of the books.
